Executive Board and Supervisory Board
Summa consists of the Executive Board, the schools, and the support services. The Supervisory Board oversees policy and financial affairs. The Executive Board formulates strategic policy and oversees its implementation.
Articles of association
In the statute Summa's statutes include the duties and powers of the Supervisory Board and the Executive Board. The articles of association also specify how these two bodies relate to each other.
Supervisory Board
The Supervisory Board consists of three members:
- Mr. Henk de Jong, interim chairman of the Supervisory Board
- Mr. Peter van Driel, interim member of the Supervisory Board
- Ms. SM Menendez, interim member of the Supervisory Board.
The Executive Board
Annemarie Moons (chair) and Jochem Meulesteen form the Executive Board of Summa.
Annemarie Moons
Annemarie Moons is Chair of the Executive Board. She joined Summa in September 2024, after serving as Chair of the Executive Board of Yuverta for several years. Annemarie is an experienced executive with a broad network in the region. From 2012, she worked at Stichting Wellant College, a merger partner of Yuverta. She was a member of the Provincial Executive of North Brabant and Chair of the University Council at Eindhoven University of Technology. After completing her master's degree in psychology at Radboud University, she completed various courses and programs in management, strategy, innovation, and governance, including a four-year program at the Dutch School of Public Administration. Annemarie holds various additional positions, including member of the Executive Board of LLO Katalysator (National Growth Fund), Commissioner of Eindhoven Airport, Secretary of Kennispact Brabant, and member of the Supervisory Board of the Van Gogh Sites Foundation.
Jochem Meulesteen
As of September 2024, Jochem Meulesteen Member of the Executive Board, responsible for Operations & Digitalization. Jochem has extensive and broad experience in various sectors, both for-profit and non-profit. Since January 2018, he has been the director of Operations & Implementation Capacity, with overall responsibility, in a multi-person directorate at the Province of North Brabant. Trained as a public administration expert at Tilburg University, Jochem has increasingly specialized in financial and business administration roles throughout his career. He served as deputy director, finance manager, and head of purchasing at Servicecentrum Drechtsteden and as unit manager for Public & Science at Science Alliance in The Hague.
