Mechatronics engineer

Do you want to develop your skills in the maintenance and repair of mechatronic machines and work in control and regulation technology? This solid training program will broaden your employability and offer excellent opportunities for advancement to higher levels.

During the training, you'll learn to assemble machines from various components. Sometimes you'll make parts of machines, sometimes you'll assemble complete machines. You'll then test the machine and handle its installation, adjustment, and maintenance. Safety is paramount.

You will learn this

You'll receive extensive practical training from experienced instructors. In the modern environment of Brainport Industries Campus, you'll work in areas such as metalworking, electrical engineering, control engineering, pneumatics, assembly, and adjustment.

With your diploma, you can work in the mechanical engineering or equipment manufacturing industry. You could also, for example, take the level 3 mechatronics technician training course.

The statutory tuition fee for the 2025-2026 school year is €303. You'll also need a laptop and pay for course materials.

2 years, you go to school 1 day a week

Preliminary training

To be able to follow this course, you need a

  • diploma from pre-vocational secondary education (VMBO) basic vocational track or;
  • MBO entrance training diploma (level 1).

You can only take this training if you work for an accredited training company. If your employer isn't accredited, or if you're unsure whether it is, please contact us. We're happy to help.
