Medical Pedicure

Are you a certified pedicurist and want to specialize? Then choose the medical pedicure program! In addition to basic foot care, you can treat at-risk feet and apply various specialized techniques. Because some treatments are covered by health insurance, clients are sure to find you.

This program allows you to specialize in medical pedicure in just one academic year. You'll learn, among other things, how to treat high-risk feet and apply specialized techniques. This program also focuses on developing entrepreneurial skills.

Unlike other training providers, you don't need to purchase your own equipment and materials to practice at school; we have them in-house. If you also want to practice at home, you can purchase supplies through our supplier.

Come to our open evening on Monday, June 15, 2026. You are welcome at Sterrenlaan 4 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM.

The training consists of theory and practice.

The theory is only aimed at medical pedicure, the topics are:

• Risk feet
• Techniques
• Quality: code of the foot care company, guidelines for treating high-risk feet and chain care
• Entrepreneurship: personnel policy and drafting a business plan

In practice are you learning:

• Research and treatment of risk feet
• Applying techniques: brace techniques, nail repairs and anti-pressure techniques
• Advising and referring clients

You complete the Medical Pedicure course with the following exams:

• 4 knowledge tests (risk feet, techniques)
• 2 medical pedicure proficiency tests (risk feet, techniques), participation after passing all theory tests
• 1 portfolio/reflection assessment

With the Medical Pedicure industry diploma, you can, for example, collaborate with general practitioners, podiatrists or a 'foot team'.
