Nursing IG (bol)

Helping and caring for people makes you happy

You enjoy helping others. As a caregiver, you help people who can no longer manage everything themselves. IG stands for individual healthcare.

In caregiving, you'll assist with things like eating, washing, and dressing. You'll also administer medication. You'll develop and implement a care plan. You'll offer both physical and emotional support. You'll listen carefully, empathize, be patient, and respond to the wishes and needs of the people you care for. Because you know them well, you know when something's wrong. In that case, you might contact a general practitioner.

During this training, you'll learn everything you need to know about this profession. You'll also learn how to collaborate effectively with colleagues.

Training at Defense

You can also combine this course with the course  VeVa – Prospective employee Safety and Craftsmanship Nursing IG (bol). You will then do an internship at the Ministry of Defence and you will also have a chance of a job there after completing your training. For more information, please visit Defense website.
