Skills Heroes teaches me that I can handle challenges

Studying Residential and Commercial Electrical Installation Technician and participated in Skills Heroes
My internship supervisor convinced me to participate in Skills Heroes. He put in a lot of effort, because initially I wasn't interested. I don't really like the spotlight and prefer to play it safe whenever possible. But in the end, I said yes and registered. I'm glad I did, especially because I made it to the finals.
Challenging assignment
In the finals, we had to build two control cabinets, one for a motor control system and one for home automation. It was a complex assignment. I was able to work well and efficiently. Unfortunately, I didn't have time for programming the home automation. I feel I did well, but I hope to get some feedback later.
Good for your development
I didn't finish on the podium, but participating was a fantastic experience. Reaching the finals allowed me to take a KNX course, which is widely used in building automation and home automation. It was a great learning experience. I want to do more with it in the future. And above all, I learned a lot about myself. Skills Heroes pushed me out of my comfort zone. I now know I can handle challenges and that I don't always have to play it safe. I highly recommend participating. It's good for your development and also super fun!
