Too bad this course didn't exist when I was studying.

What I love about this program is that all the assignments and projects come from real clients. One example is a project at Kempervennen holiday park, where our students developed plans to make the holiday homes more sustainable. During the projects and assignments, the students conduct their own research from the field, and the curriculum is adapted accordingly. For example, sustainability, circular construction, and climate change play a major role in the program.
Once you complete the Smart Building program, you can work at an architectural firm, construction company, or installation company, among other places. Your broad knowledge will make you a bridge between these disciplines. You'll know the construction project and its drawings inside and out. You'll also be future-proof, having learned to work with state-of-the-art equipment during the program. For example, by the end of the program, you'll know what it's like to work with a 3D scanner, VR glasses, thermal imaging camera, drone, and 3D printer. You'll also be able to design buildings in 3D.
Are you interested in the construction, electrical, and installation sectors? Are you curious, enjoy research, and good at connecting the dots? The construction sector is desperate for smart builders! After all, it's about the future. I think it's a real shame this program wasn't available when I was a student.
