Open days at Summa
Come and see which MBO program suits you. During an open day, you will visit our locations, talk to students and teachers, view practical training rooms, and ask all your questions.
The open days for the 2026-2027 academic year are on:
- Saturday, October 31, 2026 from 10:00 to 15:00
- Thursday, December 10, 2026 from 16:00 to 20:00
- Friday, January 15, 2027 from 16:00 to 20:00
- Thursday, February 18, 2027 from 16:00 to 20:00
- Friday, March 19, 2027 from 16:00 to 20:00
On Friday, September 25 and Saturday, September 26, 2026, we will of course be at the Onderwijsbeurs Zuid in Veldhoven again. We are also organizing a Choice Day on Thursday, June 17, 2027, from 16:00 PM to 20:00 PM for those who are still undecided.
During your visit, you can register for a course immediately. Please bring your DigiD login details with you. You can find more information about registering here.
What is an open day?
An open day is an introduction to Summa and our MBO programs. You walk around the school, view classrooms and practical training spaces, talk to teachers and students, and receive explanations about programs that interest you.
You don't have to know for sure yet which program you want to take. An open day actually helps you discover what suits you.
What can you do during an open day?
During an open day you can:
- view courses;
- see practice rooms and classrooms;
- students ask what the program is really like;
- teachers speak;
- receive an explanation regarding admission, level, BOL and BBL;
- get help if you are still in doubt;
- register immediately for a course.
Can my parent or guardian come along?
Yes, feel free to bring your parent, guardian, or someone else along. Together, you can ask questions about the program, guidance, costs, internships, travel, and registration.
Tip: Write down what you want to know in advance. That way, you won't forget anything during your visit.
Walk-along days
Would you like to discover more about a study program? Then visit one of the shadowing days . You will discover the atmosphere at the school and in the practical training rooms during a normal class day. For one day, you will be a student at Summa.
Haven't made a study choice for the 2026-2027 academic year yet? Here's what you can do:
- Make an appointment with our study choice coaches for personal advice.
- Or just drop by at Study choice café at Summa Plaza (Sterrenlaan 10). You can visit us Monday through Friday between 10:00 AM and 15:00 PM without an appointment.
- Attend an open day for the courses you are unsure about. Check the agenda Whether there will be another open day. Open days are still available until June.
