If you complete the preliminary training with sufficient results, you can enter directly into the post-MBO course Intermediate Installation Technician Mechanical Installations (MIT-W).

To be eligible for this course, the following must be submitted after registration:

• Your diplomas (as a PDF file);
• Your grade list(s) (as a PDF file);
• If you obtained a vocational education (MBO) diploma after 2006/2007, you can look up your diploma at DUO and download a PDF file: Log in to 'My DUO', go to 'My studies and diplomas' and select 'Diploma register'.

If you're currently enrolled in a program at Summa, you can submit your results. We'll see your diploma in our system later.

It's also important that we have a complete picture of your experience and knowledge, so we'd appreciate receiving an updated CV after you apply. This CV should include not only your work experience but also any relevant education or (day) courses: training centers, manufacturer, suppliers, and the programs used (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, VABI, Cable Calculation Software, Relux, Dialux, etc.).

Everyone who registers for the post-vocational secondary education (MBO) Intermediate Installation Technician for Mechanical Installations (MIT-W) course will be assessed. This assessment will determine whether the applicant has sufficient technical knowledge to enroll in the MIT-W program. If not, they may be eligible to take this introductory course under certain conditions.

During the intake interview, your CV will be discussed, and a test may be administered to assess your existing knowledge. Please ensure your CV is submitted well in advance of the intake interview and is complete.

This course is suitable for you if you:

• do not yet have sufficient knowledge to follow the MIT-W course (see entry requirements);
• have completed a secondary technical education in another technical field and/or have several years of experience in installation technology;
• you want more knowledge in the field of (calculating) mechanical installations.
