Your role
Summa Zorg en Welzijn is seeking Nursing Teaching Assistants (0,6 – 1,0 FTE) who play an important supporting role within our nursing and caregiving programs. Initially, you will be assigned to a fixed team, but you can also be flexibly deployed within other learning pathways and target groups, such as work-study students and participants in Lifelong Learning (LLL).
In this role, you support teachers and teams so that they can focus optimally on education and development. At the same time, you are a visible and approachable point of contact for students and course participants. You contribute to a safe, structured, and stimulating learning environment where different types of learners feel at home.
As a teaching assistant, you work with a diverse group of learners: from full-time students to working students and professionals undergoing further training or retraining. This requires flexibility, organizational talent, and the ability to quickly switch between different situations and needs.
Your work is varied and practice-oriented. You:
- supports teachers during lessons and educational activities;
- guides students and course participants with planning, organizing, and studying;
- helps create structure and overview, suitable for various learning pathways;
- invigilates during tests and assists with their organization;
- performs administrative and organizational tasks;
- supports the team and the team leader in daily processes;
- contributes to a welcoming and professional learning environment.
You are assigned to one core team, but are deployed flexibly within the various study programs and target groups where necessary.
Summa Care and Welfare
Summa Zorg en Welzijn provides training for various professions within the healthcare sector, such as nurses and healthcare assistants.
Within our study programs, we work with:
- BOL students (full-time)
- BBL students (work and learn)
- and participants in LLO programs, aimed at further training and retraining
