Working at Summa. Home base for talent discoverers.

Care and welfare

At Summa Zorg en Welzijn, we train students for a meaningful career in the care and welfare sector. We collaborate closely with organizations in the field to ensure our education aligns well with professional practice and developments within the sector.

Work-based practical training plays an important role in this. Together with our practice partners, we create challenging and suitable learning environments in which students develop into skilled and committed professionals.

You work for Summa Zorg en Welzijn and maintain contacts with various educational teams, care and welfare organizations, and external partners.

Your impact as a Communications Organizer internship

  • You are the connecting link between our study programs and the healthcare and welfare organizations with which we collaborate.
  • You build sustainable relationships with the professional field and contribute to high-quality professional practice training.
  • You identify developments and opportunities in the sector and translate these into possibilities for collaboration, educational development, and innovation.
  • You support educational teams and practice partners in organizing, aligning, and improving learning in professional practice.

This is what you will do as a Communications Organizer intern

  • You are the first point of contact for healthcare and welfare organizations and maintain and strengthen collaborations with practical trainers, training officers, and other stakeholders. You inform and guide (new) partners, make agreements, and identify opportunities and developments in the sector.

  • You support teachers and teaching teams with cross-organizational work placement issues, the supervision of students in practical settings, and the translation of agreements and policies into educational practice.
  • You contribute to the development and alignment of professional learning environments and workshops. You also coordinate practical training in learning departments where necessary and support the teachers involved.
  • Together with Stage Plein Zorg (SPZ), you contribute to ensuring a sufficient number of suitable practical training placements and serve as the point of contact for projects within training companies. In doing so, you ensure good coordination between education and practice.
  • You contribute to the professional development of practical examiners and the coordination surrounding practical examinations. In addition, you maintain contact with external partners, including SBB, and participate in relevant meetings.
