As a chemistry teacher, you work with a team of approximately 35 teachers, instructors, and support staff, and report to the team leader. You are part of the Chemical-Physical Analyst department.
At Summa Laboratorium, we offer two training programs. The training to become an all-round laboratory technician (level 3) lasts 2,5 years and includes a six-month internship. Students start with a broad foundation year, after which they specialize in either Biological-Medical Analyst or Chemical-Physical Analyst. The level 4 program has a total duration of four years and includes, among other things, an internship period of one and a half years.
Summa Laboratorium likes to show how interesting our field is. That is why we organize the annual Beta Tournament: a competition in the laboratory for secondary school students. In addition, we provide open days, shadowing days, information sessions, and workshops for prospective students. You actively contribute to these as well.
