Your impact as an NT2 teacher/mentor
- You guide young people with a different native language in their development towards education and work.

This is what you will do as an NT2 teacher/mentor
- You teach NT2 lessons and bring learning objectives to life in a creative way.
- You guide newcomers in their development and help them make the transition to further education or work.
- You create a safe learning environment where students feel seen and trusted.
- You motivate and encourage vulnerable groups of students to get the best out of themselves.
As an NT2 teacher/mentor, you carry out your duties within Summa VOAT and work together with a team of passionate and professional colleagues.
This is what we offer you
- Working in a committed and expert team where development and a sense of purpose are central.
- A salary according to the MBO collective labor agreement scale LB, between €3.713 and €5.495 gross per month based on full-time employment.
- A one-year contract to replace a teacher, with the prospect of extension subject to availability in the staffing.
Year-end bonus of 8,33%, ABP pension fund, a laptop and phone on loan.
- Develop yourself through training, a course or the annual development festival.
This is what we expect from you
- Passion for education and development.
- You actively seek connection with students and colleagues.
- A completed higher professional education (HBO) degree, preferably in Dutch teacher training or primary teacher education (PABO).
- Affinity with and experience in guiding vulnerable target groups.
- Strong pedagogical and didactic skills, with knowledge of NT2.
- You have an intrinsic motivation to offer young people perspective and know how to guard your professional boundaries in doing so.
