Your impact as a Math and Financial Skills Teacher

This is what you will do as a Math and Financial Skills Teacher
- Providing practice-oriented and differentiated mathematics education.
- Learning financial skills such as budgeting, managing money, and making financial choices.
- Promoting self-reliance and independence among students.
- Collaborating in a multidisciplinary team and participating in meetings and school activities.
- Flexible allocation to related subjects, such as citizenship.
As a Teacher of Arithmetic and Financial Skills, you work within Secondary Education for Non-Native Speakers (VOAT) and are part of a committed and multidisciplinary team. You report to the team management of Summa VOAT.

- A salary according to the MBO collective labor agreement, scale LB, between €3.713 and
€5.495 gross per month based on full-time employment.
- A fixed-term contract of one year (with the possibility of extension) and the opportunity to start at short notice.

This is what we expect from you
- You preferably have a completed teacher training program (e.g. PABO) and/or demonstrable experience as a teacher.
- Passion for education and the development of young people aged 15 to 18.
- You actively seek connection with students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- You are strong in pedagogy and didactics and are good at differentiating.
- You have an affinity for arithmetic and financial self-reliance.
- You are flexible, independent, and also work well in a team.
- You take initiative and contribute to a positive learning environment.
