This is how the MHBO programme works
In the MHBO programme, you simply start your MBO training, but you are already anticipating your HBO study.
For the first two years, you'll follow the regular vocational education (MBO) program. In the third year, the so-called MHBO year, things get interesting: in addition to your MBO subjects, you'll also take HBO subjects and get acquainted with the university of applied sciences (HBO) study method. This will prepare you well if you continue with a HBO program after your MBO diploma.
After your third year you will have MBO level 4 diploma in your pocket and you will continue for another three years to also HBO bachelor's degree to get. The nice thing is that in total you only 6 years you need instead of 7, because you already get a head start in that third year.
