ICT MHBO – From MBO to HBO in one go
Do you want to study ICT, are you ambitious, and would you like to continue your studies at a university of applied sciences? With the MHBO track, you will obtain both your MBO level 4 diploma and your HBO bachelor's degree in 6 years.
This is how the MHBO programme works
In the MHBO track, you simply start your MBO education in ICT, but you are already ahead of your HBO studies.
For the first two years, you'll follow the regular vocational education (MBO) program. In the third year, the so-called MHBO year, things get interesting: in addition to your MBO subjects, you'll also take HBO subjects and get acquainted with the university of applied sciences (HBO) study method. This will prepare you well if you continue with a HBO program after your MBO diploma.
After your third year, you will have your MBO level 4 diploma and will continue for another three years to obtain your HBO bachelor's degree as well. The great thing is that you only need a total of 6 years instead of 7, because you already get a head start in that third year.
