It makes me stronger as a person
Shentley Mathilda
I worked in a kind of hospital for prisoners and those under psychiatric treatment. There, I checked the rooms and the belongings visitors brought. I monitored the camera feeds, and if an incident occurred, my colleague and I would respond.
I really enjoyed it. I grew as a security guard and as a person. In a completely different world, I met people who are completely different. And that's exactly why I want to do this job.
Every now and then I had to swallow hard. Every week you experienced some truly crazy and sometimes intense things. Fortunately, the organization and school offered us the opportunity to talk about it, but you really had to be strong. Sometimes you find yourself in a situation where you have to make a quick decision. That keeps it exciting."
