From February 24th to 28th, Summa is celebrating Meatless Week for the second year running. During this nationwide campaign, which falls during the Carnival holidays this year, tens of thousands of Dutch people are challenging themselves to give up meat for a while. Why? Because a meatless day is not only good for your health but also has a significant positive impact on the environment.

To make this week extra delicious, Summa Plus has put together an inspiring and interactive program. Initiator Mirjam van der Woude, a teacher at Summa, emphasizes the importance of this week. "We see the consequences of climate change and CO2 emissions every day. That's why doing nothing isn't an option. Consciously choosing less meat is a gift to the planet and to yourself!"

Meatless Week at Summa Plus isn't just a moment of awareness, it's also a culinary celebration! In cooking classes, students discover how to create delicious dishes without meat.

As the absolute star of the show, renowned television chef and former Summa instructor Mounir Toub kicks off the week on Monday with an exclusive cooking workshop. From 13.00:15.30 PM to XNUMX:XNUMX PM, he'll show you how to create truly amazing meals with pure, plant-based ingredients. Afterwards, there's a meet & greet for students and instructors. But it doesn't stop there! On Wednesday and Friday, students will take the initiative with a tasting table full of vegan delicacies in the main hall. And the instructors? They'll be taking on the challenge with a vegan challenge.

In short, a week full of flavor, inspiration, and conscious choices. Will you join us?
