ICT support: specialization within ICT support technician (BOL)

Good with people, even better with computers

Are you interested in computers and technology? And do you enjoy helping people and solving technical problems? Then the ICT Support specialization is for you.

What do you learn at ICT Support?

From a laptop that no longer works to a network that goes down: as an ICT Support Employee, you learn how to help people with digital questions and technical problems. You ensure that computers, software, and networks continue to function properly.

You will learn how to install and manage computers and software. You will also discover how to detect and resolve malfunctions and how to keep systems secure and up to date. You will assist users over the phone or on-site and learn how to clearly explain technical problems. In doing so, you ensure that people can quickly get back to their work.

Who is this outflow for?

This career path suits you if you enjoy helping people, are interested in computers, and like solving technical problems. You remain calm when something doesn't work and enjoy figuring out what is going on.

Almost every company uses ICT and needs people to ensure everything continues to function properly. You will therefore learn a profession with a future in which you use your technical knowledge to help others.
