Your impact as a Maintenance & Handyman Instructor
- You teach students how to work safely and skillfully with materials, tools, and machines.
- You help students grow in independence, responsibility, and craftsmanship.
- You provide a practical environment where students can practice with real assignments from the construction industry.
This is what you will do as a Maintenance & Handyman Instructor
- You manage the carpentry hall and the workspace for maintenance and renovation activities.
- You ensure the management and timely availability of materials, tools, and machines.
- You provide practical lessons within the Maintenance & Handyman Business program.
- You supervise students on practical assignments in the carpentry hall and workshop.
- You support teachers with practical lessons and projects in carpentry, bricklaying, tiling, painting, and plastering.
- You guide students in working safely and developing a professional work attitude.
- Together with colleagues and students, you contribute to maintenance and renovation activities within the school.
As a Maintenance & Handyman Services Instructor, you carry out your duties within Summa Bouw. You work closely with teachers and fellow instructors within the practical training program and supervise students in the workshop and carpentry hall. You contribute to a learning environment where practical experience is central.

- A salary in accordance with the MBO collective labor agreement, scale 9, between €3.344 and €4.948 gross per month based on full-time employment.

This is what we expect from you
- You are an all-round craftsman or craftswoman with experience in (small-scale) construction projects.
- You have knowledge of materials, tools, machines, and workshop management.
- You have an affinity with other construction disciplines such as bricklaying, tiling, and painting.
- You enjoy guiding young people in their development.
- You have experience as a mentor, practical supervisor, or instructor.
- You preferably hold an instructor's diploma or are willing to obtain one.
- You work independently, take initiative, and see what is needed in the practical environment.
