Your impact as a contract manager
- You ensure that agreements with suppliers contribute to Summa's goals and ambitions.
- You help the organization maintain control over performance, risks, and contractual obligations.
- You strengthen collaboration between suppliers and internal stakeholders so that contracts are utilized optimally.
This is what you will do as a contract manager
- You manage contracts in the areas of business operations, HR, Marketing & Communications, and education.
- You monitor agreements, performance, contract terms, and relevant laws and regulations.
- You organize and conduct consultations with suppliers and internal stakeholders at a tactical and strategic level.
- You monitor performance based on KPIs, SLAs, and other agreements.
- You identify risks and opportunities and advise contract owners accordingly.
- You prepare reports and monitor contract terms and contract information.
- You provide support with tenders, mini-competitions, and procurement processes.
- You translate information from departmental plans, spend analyses, and contract data into concrete advice.
As a Contract Manager, you will carry out your duties within the Purchasing & Contract Management team, part of the Finance & Control department. The team consists of a team leader, three contract managers, three buyers, and two Purchasing & Contract Management employees. Together, you work on further professionalizing contract and supplier management within Summa. The atmosphere within the team is open and collegial; colleagues help each other, share knowledge, and are there for one another when needed.

- A salary in accordance with the MBO collective labour agreement, scale 10 or 11, depending on education, experience, and expertise, between €3.713 and €6.210 gross per month based on full-time employment.
- A fixed-term contract of one year, with the intention of renewal.
- The opportunity to work partially from home after the onboarding period.
- Year-end bonus of 8,33%, 30 vacation days per calendar year based on full-time employment, ABP pension fund, a laptop and phone on loan.

- You possess a demonstrable higher professional education (HBO) working and thinking level within contract management and/or procurement.
- You have knowledge of contract management, tenders, or relevant laws and regulations, preferably within the public sector.
- You can analyze information and translate it into clear advice and actions.
- You work in a structured manner and maintain an overview of multiple contracts and interests.
- You communicate easily with various stakeholders, both internal and external.
- You are results-oriented and know how to bring together parties with different interests.
- You take initiative, see opportunities, and think in solutions.
- You work independently, but also actively seek collaboration with colleagues.
