Construction/Infrastructure Supervisor (BBL)

Daily management on the construction site

As a construction manager, you're responsible for the day-to-day management of the construction site, ensuring the smooth running of the project.

As a construction foreman, you're responsible for the day-to-day management of the construction site. You ensure the smooth running of the construction project. You prepare the work and prepare quotes. You also supervise employees. You monitor progress, coordinate the work, and handle administrative tasks. You ensure the work is delivered on time and within the agreed-upon budget.

At Summa Bouw, you receive a broad training program. This allows you to work in various sectors after completing the program. For example, you'll learn how to ensure a smooth construction process. You'll learn about materials, construction methods, and construction laws and regulations. Other subjects include AutoCAD 2D, mechanics, construction vision, Excel, math, Dutch, and English. In this role, it's important that you can interact effectively with staff, clients, and contractors. Therefore, you'll also receive training in communication skills.

Shortened course

The full training to become a site supervisor formally lasts 3 years. We offer only the final year to students who already possess the necessary professional knowledge.
