You work 4 days a week and go to school 1 day a week. If you're over 21, you can also attend classes on Saturdays. This means you can work 5 days a week, for example.

During your studies, you choose one or more electives to specialize or broaden your knowledge. For example, in entrepreneurship, management, programming, or a language. For the vocational training (level 3) and middle management training (level 4) you must meet one of the following conditions:

• You have a diploma in pre-vocational secondary education (VMBO) with a pre-vocational secondary education (VMBO) track, a theoretical pre-vocational secondary education (VMBO) track, or a mixed pre-vocational secondary education (VMBO) track.
• You have an (older) diploma from lbo, vbo, mavo or mavo-vbo.
• You have a basic vocational training diploma (level 2) or a diploma from another vocational training course (level 3).
• You have proof that you successfully completed the first three years of pre-university or senior general secondary education (havo) or pre-university education (vwo). Or you have another diploma or certificate recognized by the government.

Work

During a personal interview or introductory meeting, we'll determine if this program is a good fit for you. To start this program, you must work at an accredited training company. There are several ways to find a suitable company.

• Check out the website of SBB (Collaborative Organisation for Vocational Education and Business) for information about the labour market, internships and professions.
• Check the websites of well-known boiler manufacturers for dealer/installation company addresses. Call or email a training company and try to schedule an introductory meeting. During this meeting, you can indicate that you're interested in training and want to start working quickly. Some examples of companies include: Nefit, Remeha, AWB en Vaillant.
• Or contact a technical recruitment agency such as Otter-Westelaken.
