Electrical installation engineer

You will learn this

You'll receive extensive practical training from experienced instructors. In the modern environment of Brainport Industries Campus, you'll learn what it takes to become a skilled tradesperson, such as electrical engineering. You'll also learn to work safely and plan effectively, to work in a team, and to manage the expectations of customers, colleagues, and your employer.

With your diploma, you can work for an electrical installation company, an infrastructure company, an alarm and fire alarm system company, an IT/network company, a telecom company, or a home automation company. You can also continue your studies at a level 3 vocational education (MBO) program.

Preliminary training

To be able to follow this course, you need a

  • diploma from pre-vocational secondary education (VMBO) basic vocational track or;
  • MBO entrance training diploma (level 1).

You can only take this training if you work for an accredited training company. If your employer isn't accredited, or if you're unsure whether it is, please contact us. We're happy to help.

Costs

The statutory tuition fee for the 2025-2026 school year is €303. You'll also need a laptop and pay for course materials.
