Costs
The costs depend on the level and include 1 exam moment:
Welding BMBE level 1 – € 2.371
Welding BMBE level 2 – € 2.518
Welding BMBE level 3 – € 4.330
Welding BMBE level 4 – € 5.342
These prices are valid from June 1, 2026. Subject to interim price changes.
If the participant is already following a vocational training course at Summa, a discount of €275 will be applied.
Invoices for welding courses (daytime and evening) will be sent at the start of the course. Retakes will be billed based on a post-calculation.
Summa training courses and teaching materials made available by Summa are exempt from VAT. Read more about training costs.
Duration
- Level 1 and 2: maximum 17 evenings.
- Level 3 and 4: maximum 34 evenings.
Course days and times
Evening: one regular evening per week from 18:21.30 PM to XNUMX:XNUMX PM. If there's a specific evening you can't make, please let us know.

Employees who perform welding work and wish to further develop their skills in welding with coated electrodes.
Preliminary training
You do not need any prior training for level 1:
- To start at Level 2, you must have completed Level 1 or equivalent education/experience.
- For level 3 you must have completed level 2 or equivalent education/experience.
- For level 4 you need a level 3 diploma or equivalent education/experience.

Certificate of Education
