All-round Assistant Business Services (secretarial and financial) (work-based learning)

Bring administrative and financial data to life

As an all-round business services assistant, you'll be at the heart of the organization, working at the intersection of management information, financial and administrative processes, planning, organization, marketing, and communication.

As an All-round Business Services Assistant, you're a jack of all trades. As an office assistant, you'll contribute to management information, financial administrative processes, planning, organization, marketing, and communication. You'll be juggling many projects and tasks simultaneously, so maintaining an overview is crucial.

At school, you'll learn about administration (time tracking and invoicing), personal data protection regulations (GDPR), and financial concepts. You'll also learn the ins and outs of establishing customer contact and conducting business communications. We place a strong emphasis on the organizational and human aspects of your work. This will be useful when organizing meetings and receiving clients.

You'll be working extensively with IT systems. Ordering office supplies, keeping up with social media, working with Exact, checking invoices, scheduling meetings, handling phone calls… that's what your busy workday will look like. Thanks to this broad administrative/secretarial training program, you'll enjoy your work and bring a big smile!

This course is a combination of the Office Assistant (Secretary) and Financial Administrative Assistant courses and contains elements of the Marketing & Communication Specialist course.
