What are you becoming?
Sports staff are active in many places: at a sports club, swimming pool, fitness center, outdoor center, municipality or, for example, at an after-school care center.
You'll become an employee at a (sports) company and will primarily be involved in preparing and executing (sports) activities, performing maintenance and repairs, and interacting with customers. After completing your diploma, you can start working as a sports employee or progress to a level 3/4 program, for example, Sports and Exercise Coordinator.

You'll start with practical training from day one. You'll work within a company under the supervision of an instructor. This way, you'll learn all the tasks related to your future profession. In addition to these practical training sessions and classes at school, an internship is an important part of your program. It's where you'll gain even more insight into the profession.
You can broaden your interests through electives. These include: All-round Pool Attendant, Fitness Trainer A, Show and Entertainment.
